1. Data Controller

2. Data Collection & Processing
We collect and process personal data strictly for the purposes of delivering our digital engineering services. The categories of data processed include:
- Contact information (name, email address, phone number) submitted through our contact forms
- Communication records related to project inquiries and service delivery
- Technical data including IP addresses, browser type, and device information for security purposes
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Processing is conducted under Article 6(1)(b) of the EU GDPR (performance of a contract) for service delivery, and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests) for security monitoring and service improvement. We do not process data based on consent except where explicitly required.
4. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Contact form submissions are retained for a maximum of 24 months. Project-related data is retained for the duration of the engagement plus 6 years as required by Danish accounting regulations.
5. Data Subject Rights
Under the EU GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Article 15) — request a copy of all personal data we hold
- Right to rectification (Article 16) — correct inaccurate personal data
- Right to erasure (Article 17) — request deletion of your personal data
- Right to restriction (Article 18) — limit processing of your data
- Right to data portability (Article 20) — receive your data in machine-readable format
- Right to object (Article 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interests
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3), access controls, regular security audits, and employee training on data protection protocols.
7. International Transfers
Personal data is processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data transfers outside the EEA are necessary, we ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions as recognized by the European Commission.
8. Supervisory Authority

Refund Framework

1. Service Engagement Terms
All services provided by RidgeBeaconLabs are delivered according to mutually agreed project specifications and milestone schedules. Payment terms are established in the service agreement preceding each engagement.
2. Cancellation & Refund Eligibility
- Projects cancelled before commencement: Full refund minus administrative processing fees (5%)
- Projects cancelled after commencement: Refund calculated proportionally based on completed milestones versus total project scope
- Completed deliverables: Non-refundable once accepted and delivered to client
3. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute regarding refunds, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct negotiation within 30 days. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret) in accordance with Danish law.
4. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Processing fees incurred during the original transaction are non-refundable.
Service Terms

1. Service Agreement
By engaging RidgeBeaconLabs for digital engineering services, you enter into a binding agreement governed by these Terms of Service and the specific service agreement executed prior to project commencement.
2. Scope of Services
All services are delivered according to the specifications defined in the respective service agreement. RidgeBeaconLabs reserves the right to modify technical implementation details while maintaining the agreed functional requirements.
3. Intellectual Property
- Upon full payment, all custom code, designs, and deliverables created specifically for the client are transferred to client ownership
- RidgeBeaconLabs retains rights to pre-existing frameworks, libraries, and general development methodologies
- Portfolio rights: RidgeBeaconLabs may display completed work in marketing materials unless explicitly restricted in the service agreement
4. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding proprietary information shared during the engagement. This obligation survives termination of the agreement for a period of 36 months.
5. Limitation of Liability
RidgeBeaconLabs's total liability under any service agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim. RidgeBeaconLabs shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, cyber-attacks, or infrastructure failures.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Copenhagen City Court (Københavns Byret).
